You are buying one of these plastic 1st May Carnations. DDR made. Very good condition. Multiples are available. Use them as pocket fillers for your uniforms or for display. Most people in the DDR took part in demonstrations on May Day, which was a public holiday in the DDR and most of these wore a carnation on that day. The last two sample pics in this listing show such a carnation being worn in anger in the DDR ;-)
