Original, used East German coin. All that I have are dated 1950. Condition of the ones that I have does vary. These are all issued and circulated coins. Please do not necessarily expect to receive a shiny and untouched coin, although you may do of course ;-)

An item as old as myself

I was attracted to this item as we share the same birth year - 1950.
Also, although I visited the GDR in 1986 and returned to the same area 30 years later, when there had been so many changes, I have never acquired an item from these earlier times.
This is also, in the main, is the same for the GDR section of my Medal Collection. Most of the items are from the 19760s-80s so it was good to obtain an earlier item - no matter how modest. Many thanks for this opportunity.
