This is an original German cigarette card collector book, issued by Cigaretten Bilderdienst Altona-Bahrenfeld in Germany in 1935.  The book is designed to contain 100s of superb cigarette collector cards all neatly fixed to their appropriate places within the book.  Because of their size, these could not have come directly from a packet of cigarettes, but rather tokens had to be collected and then they had to be send off to get the pics.  This book is about the history of the German Silent Movie Industry from 1918 to 1929.   The book measures 12 1/4" x 9 1/4".  Unpacked weight is 1.26kg. Used condition. Complete with all its cards and still in its original card board box.
