A Stammbuch was a personnel file of the NSDAP that had to be kept for all those that had any kind of function or office within the NSDAP and its organisations. The functionary had to swear an Oath of allegiance to the Fuehrer which was recorded within the Stammbuch, as well as any office he held and other official records and correspondence in relation to him. There might be documentation of when he was recommended for promotion within the party or from when he was recommended for a medal or when he was called up for war service, etc. The files also contain personal information on the man and his family and they all contain a hand written CV. I do have a number of these files available at the moment in different condition and with different contents.
